- Nature (eg, the Romantics)
- History (Death of Socrates, anyone?)
- Human Emotion (Munch's Scream)
- Speculation (Jules Verne and the birth of Sci-fi)
- Technology (The Futurists)
- Other art (How many paintings of violins did the Cubists do?)
- Lifestyles (German Expressionism)
- Politics (Constructivism)
- Anti-art (Dada)
- Dreams (I'm currently writing an essay based around Surrealism)
I think that should do for now. I don't deny that theism has provided us with great art, but to say we would be without art if we were without God is demonstrably false.
